As we all know by now, I enjoy the breakaway. New to the 3's, I wanted to get in one, and have it be more than me, myself and I off the front. After Luke took off and started what would be "the move" of the race, I waited for my chance to bridge and got up. We spent the next 40 minutes away from the field, pulling through, echeloning, yelling at each other, getting a flat (only applies to Luke, unfortunately), attacking, countering, dropping some riders from the break, almost getting dropped at one point when Luke attacked, "attacking" and then getting 6th place (out of six in the group). I'm pleased I was up there, and definitely had a great time, despite having only one teammate; apart from Joe Martin, I've had at least 41 teammates in every race this year. Luke, that was fun as hell. Next goal is to get in a break and not get last in the break. Breaky break break break. I think I've said "break" 20 times.
