A Joint Production Of:
2019 Lincoln Park Criterium
April 28, 2019
xXx Racing, along with 46th ward Ald. James Cappleman, is proud to present the 2019 Lincoln Park Criterium. Since 2012, the Lincoln Park Criterium has been a staple on the Chicago-area road racing calendar. Set along Montrose Harbor, this race features a unique course with a famous 180° turn, beautiful vistas of both the city skyline and Lake Michigan and typically unpredictable Chicago spring weather!
xXx Racing-Athletico is committed to developing cyclists in the Chicagoland area and the Lincoln Park Criterium offers races for juniors riders aged 9-14 and 15-18 as well as fixed gear categories for both men and women. Our schedule allows most racers to race more than one race during the day and with discounted multiple race pricing we hope you all do so. The Lincoln Park Criterium is part of the 2019 IL Cup.
xXx Racing-Athletico is equally proud to have equal payouts and race durations for men and women.
The Lincoln Park Criterium features a 0.8 mile (1.3 km) loop along Chicago’s lakefront. Cyclists will negotiate a course with a fast downhill section leading into two 90-degree turns, before the course’s technical 180-degree hairpin. The finish of the race features a 150 meter sprint out of the final corner to the finish line. You can find more details on our interactive course map.
