2020 Lincoln Park Crit has been cancelled

March 18, 2020: With the health and safety of our event attendees, volunteers, and teammates in mind, we made the decision this morning to cancel the Lincoln Park Criterium scheduled for Sunday, April 26th. All pre-registered riders were emailed this morning and informed that their race registration fees would be refunded directly to their accounts in the next few days by BikeReg.com.

xXx Racing remains committed to producing local, quality, cycling events and to the extent it becomes feasible to host the Lincoln Park Crit later in the year, we will give that serious contemplation.

Last Sunday we also announced that xXx Racing had cancelled all in-person team events for the next few weeks.

This list now includes:

  • Saturday Team Rides (until further notice)
  • Criterium Clinic - Sunday, April 5th (cancelled)
  • Team Meeting - Monday, April 6th (held via Zoom conferencing)
  • Lincoln Park Criterium - Sunday, April 26th (cancelled)
  • LaBagh Practice Crits (original start date of Tuesday, April 14th, has been postponed until a later date, TBD)

While there is no substitute for group riding and racing, we hope that we, as a team, can rise to the occasion and create meaningful community connection in ways that don't require group gatherings. We can utilize virtual cycling and/or video conferencing to continue our training and friendships while we are practicing social distancing.

Teammates, if you would like to host a group Zwift ride/race, a Zoom conference yoga class, or anything else please reach out to us and/or continue to utilize the ride board to post details.

Love and Bicycles to you all,
xXx Racing-Athletico
