xXx Racing-Athletico is pleased to bring back a series of practice criteriums to Chicago, with the cooperation of Chicago 10th Ward Alderwoman Susan Sadlowski Garza. The practice crits are on the same “Hot Dog” course first launched by the Intelligentsia Cup in 2014.

Practice crits are an important tool to introducing riders to the thrill of bike racing, in a less competitive and safer environment. xXx Racing is excited to again offer an opportunity for racers to come out and practice crit racing three times in one night!

The Hot Dog Practice Crits features a 0.8 mile (1.3 km) loop along Chicago’s lakefront. Cyclists will negotiate an easy course featuring two 180-degree turns separated by a 1/3 mile straightaway.

Registration is $15 per evening, regardless of how many events are raced.

Registration occurs in person at the race course. USAC licenses are required and one-day licenses are available. Cash and credit cards accepted; no checks please.
